	Manuel Lopez Gallery Manuel López, nacido en Valparaíso, fue en Chile un especialista en agricultura durante la Unidad Popular. Fue un refugiado en Escocia en 1974. Estudió en Rusia, después en Aberdeen con beca del World University Service (WUS). Manuel vivió en Glasgow, en Drumchapel. Ahí le conocí. En los 80s, Manuel trabajó en Nicaragua ayudando, como agrónomo, a los Sandinistas en su revolución. En Junio 1987 fue asesinado en un ataque terrorista por "la Contra", ejército nicaragüense apoyado por la C.I.A. Le recuerdo como un hombre muy dulce, con una esposa llamada Rosita y una pequeña hija.
